On Saturday the 9th of October 2004 the demolition work on the existing house finally started.
These pictures were taken during the late afternoon: after only 6 hours of work the demolishing crew were able to cut all the plants and trees close to the building, and remove the top level of the house, including the complete roof.
The remaining of the work will probably proceed at a somewhat slower pace, but it was impressive to come there and see half of the house already gone :-)
